Hermana's next step.

Hill and I made a short trip to Oaklnad to get her Temple clothes. The distribution center in Oakland is on the ocean and it's so beautiful there. There is a cute little cottage on the grounds and we took pics of Hill with her purchases !! We were able to get all of her clothes that day for $47.00.

How Hermana Scott's journey began.

When Hill made the decision to serve a mission for the church, to be one of the Lord's servants 24/7 for 18 months, I knew it was right !! I truly had always known she should serve, but didn't ever tell her because we are very close and I didn't want her to serve because I said she should !! I am teary just thinking about how our Father in Heaven brought her to where she is today !! Please have no doubt it was our God who lead her to Mesa AZ !! I am grateful He has lead her here even though I am deprived of her company for this long 18 months !! Thank Heavens for email, and even snail mail !!

When she made the decision everything fell into place pretty quickly !! One of the things we had to do was have her picture taken to accompany her papers when they were submitted to church headquaters. So here are the pictures taken by my dear friend Linda Ryan as a gift to Hill, she did this with a walking boot on her leg which was pretty badly broken in Guatemala just a short time earlier !! The bottom picture is the one Hill chose to submit with her papers !!
