I got a letter yesterday.

I got a letter yesterday from Hermana Scott. It was really mostly about me, beings it was my birthday this week. (I actually got the sweetest birthday present from her last week, more on that later.) But she sent me this cute picture and wrote on the back. The scripture was Psalm 4:7, "Thou hast put gladness in my heart". She has brought gladness to my heart every day of her life !!

She says, "I've really found my purpose here, especially here in Payson. Thank You for this gift. Life seems more like an exciting unknown adventure as I've come to know and appreciate the plan of salvation. I am so grateful for my mission and as always for you. "I have always said to her with each new twist in our road, "Let's think of this as an new adventure" !! I love it !!!

In the Liahona 3rd Ward

These are the missionaries who served in the Liahona 3rd ward in Mesa, before they were all transferred hither and tither !!!! The one making bunny ears on Hermana Scott is Elder Schwarze, her friend !!

This is all of the missionaries in Hermana Scott's district !!! If you look close you can see Hermana scott peeking out of the back !!

The last time together on their mission.

This is Hermana Lopez she is from Bolivia. Hill said she made her feel like a giant! They loved being companions.
This is the MTC companion of Sister Topou who served here in Clovis 2nd ward twice !! When she was transferred back to our ward I showed her the pictures of Hermana Scott and she was so surprised to see it was her first companion !!! It is truly a small world !!!

What do you think?

People in AZ have been telling Hillary she looks like Jackie O. What do you think?

Showing off the nails!!

While Hermana Scott and Hermana Lopez where teaching an investigator a lesson, she insisted on doing their nails !! Normally they don't have time for things like that !! So it was treat !!

Hillary's "Mission Son"

Hermana Scott's mission "Son" Elder Ricks, she said as she was leaving Mesa for Payson, he was getting his own son and thus making her a "Grandma"!! This means she trained him and he is no longer the "Greeney" and will be training someone now !!!

Sell it Sisters !!!!!

Hermana Scott and Hermana Lopez proselyting. A man gave them this restaurant flyer and told them they should go there, then proceeded to tell them how bad the food was. Hill wrote, "that though they have been accused of being sales women, at least they totally believed in what they were selling" !!! lol

Our Dear Mary

Saying good-bye to Mary was hard for Hermana Scott, she truly loves this sister!! She watched over my baby girl for me and was such a blessing to me !! I know the Lord placed her in Hermana Scott's path for me !!! I love you Mary Lucero, forever !!!

Can you say "random" !!

If you know Hill at all you know she doesn't like to take random pictures!! She likes to pose and have delete options !! So these are some of the ones her companion Hermana Lopez took of her randomly !!! She said every time she turned around out came the camera !!!

Hermana Scott and her companion Hermana Lopez in the rain. Hill said she made her feel like a giant !!!
