Hillary's email from this last week!!

This is one of the little families Hermana Scott is teaching the Gospel !!!

"I am sorry that we're not gonna get the chance to email like normal this week. I should've told Susan to tell you I would be on today. And I am also sorry that I didn't write you a letter last week. I had pictures I was going to send you but by the time I realized I hadn't sent them it was just too late. But I promise you one this week though. Sorry I don't really have much exciting news for you today. I've been stuck in the house for almost a week now! So not much happened. Ugh. It was miserbale when we had to turn in numbers last night. We only taught 3 lessons total this week. And that normally is a low DAY for us and that was the lesson count for the WEEK. I so didn't feel like a missionary this week. Being sick as a missionary really sucks. It's so stressful. lol It's like dropping your area for a week and so dropping the progress of your investigators and letting them backslide. You worry for the whole time and with good reason. And then last night my district leader told me he thinks I have Valley Fever because I still have a fever which he said used to be an incurable disease but now they have medication for it so I'll be ok. He's just such a comfort! lol Thank heaven's for the Potts and especially Sister Gill. I didn't like the idea of living with members at first, but now I think it's awesome. They took such good care of us and we got to watch church movies and have interaction with other people and since there are members there we could get visits from the Elders. But if we'd been in our apartment only it would've been worse and soo maddeningly boring. The only thing I didn't hate about being sick was nap time. It had been a long time since I had gotten one of those jewels from heaven. lol It was also nice to get some extra studying in and more weightloss because I was not allowed solid food! haha I have absolutely fallen in love with the scriptures on my mission. They truly never stop amazing me.

Well Mom I need to email my mission President. I'll be sure to write you a letter this week and send pics. I love you so very much Momma. Take care of your self and remember to say your prayers :o)"

Love,
Hna. Scott

Words of a Prophet !!!

Many young women are serving missions. Many are preparing to serve; not because they weren't married or because they have nothing to do, but because they have a desire to serve and therefore are being called to the work.

The reason so many are going is because in the next generation Heavenly Father will be sending His priesthood army to the earth. He wants to send them to mothers who have been properly trained and taught in the gospel. And what better training can a young woman receive than that of serving a mission. - President Gordon B. Hinckley
