This weeks picture and story !!

This picture is of Hill burning her pantyhose to mark her one year to go date !! She will be home on June 23 2011 !!! Go Hermana Scott, serve the Lord with all your heart, might, mind and strength !!

This week was a hard one for Hermana Scott, for various reasons she struggled, not Spiritually, but with the inner workings of relationships !! The blessing of being close to the Temple is she was able to, with her companion, get special permission to attend a session of the temple. She said she walked into the temple with the weight of the world on her shoulders and a pain in her heart!! But when she walked into the temple she said she found Peace !! Hermana Scott said she was so grateful to be worthy to go to the temple and you do find answers there !!!

This picture is from Jeff and Julie's Saturday visit to the Visitors Center at the Mesa Temple. They went to take Hill a surprise box of goodies and to make sure she was feeling well !! Julie and Jeff thank you for easing my mind when I was worrying about my baby girl !!

Jeff and Julie sent me this picture of Hill at the Easter Pageant tonight, she got to sit with them for the program !! Julie says she looks great and she loves Hill's new shorter hair !! They say she is so happy and looks so good !!! I am so spoiled !!! I love me some Boydston's !!!!!!

Hill's new address

Hillary's territory is the square mile around the Mesa Temple. She is working on the Temple grounds. She is Spanish speaking and doing proselyting on the grounds with her 2 companions. She is extremely happy !!! She says if you stand on the steps of the visitor's center she'll find you !!! lol

In my first letter from Hermana Scott, she says she loves the MTC!! "It is super busy but that staves off homesickness I suppose." She then said, "Mom I know this is where I'm meant to be without a doubt in my mind or heart. I have learned so much about the gospel in 2 days than I could've imagined. Missionary work is more involved than I ever imagined but it is so rewarding that you get back more than you put in. My testimony has already grown." Then she talks about her district and that Benson is in her district too !!! She says, The Spirit is so strong it's undescribable. Everyone is so welcoming and polite. The Elders are so considerate to us sisters. They carry our books for us and our trays, they stand up when we walk into the room and even Benson is learning." That comment was in regards to the morning they left for the MTC together. Elder B (as he shall be known in future posts) cut right in front of her and the other Elder leaving with them let her go first and offered to help with her bags !! haha In B's defense Hill and he are like brother and sister and have been friends for a long time, so he was just being her brother and what brother lets his sister go first !!!

Hill's mission is changed

I don't have the original map of the Mesa Mission, but I do believe it has been cut in half!!!! I haven't heard from Hill if she knows anything about this yet. When I know I'll share with you !!!
