Herman Scott has the Flu !!

This is Sister Gill, the Hermanas live in her home. Hermana Scott has the flu !! On top of MRSA !!! Poor baby !! I know it's the flu because poor Hermana McKinney became ill too !! Thanks to Sister Gill for taking care of them and the updates !!!

This is her new companion Hermana McKinney !!! Mary told me she is very sweet !!! She is straight from the MTC and Hermana Scott is her trainer !! Hermana Scott said about being a trainer, "I spend more time on my knees as it is a lot of responsibility but Hermana McKinney makes it easy" !!

Words of a Prophet !!!

Many young women are serving missions. Many are preparing to serve; not because they weren't married or because they have nothing to do, but because they have a desire to serve and therefore are being called to the work.

The reason so many are going is because in the next generation Heavenly Father will be sending His priesthood army to the earth. He wants to send them to mothers who have been properly trained and taught in the gospel. And what better training can a young woman receive than that of serving a mission. - President Gordon B. I got a letter yesterday.

I got a letter yesterday from Hermana Scott. It was really mostly about me, beings it was my birthday this week. (I actually got the sweetest birthday present from her last week, more on that later.) But she sent me this cute picture and wrote on the back. The scripture was Psalm 4:7, "Thou hast put gladness in my heart". She has brought gladness to my heart every day of her life !!


She says, "I've really found my purpose here, especially here in Payson. Thank You for this gift. Life seems more like an exciting unknown adventure as I've come to know and appreciate the plan of salvation. I am so grateful for my mission and as always for you. "I have always said to her with each new twist in our road, "Let's think of this as an new adventure" !! I love it !!!

This is Hermana Lopez she is from Bolivia. Hill said she made her feel like a giant! They loved being companions.
This is the MTC companion of Sister Topou who served here in Clovis 2nd ward twice !! When she was transferred back to our ward I showed her the pictures of Hermana Scott and she was so surprised to see it was her first companion !!! It is truly a small world !!!
